I am on the faculty of the Department of Biological Sciences at Bowling Green State University. I work with research groups in Aquatic Ecology, Molecular Biology, and Neuroscience. -
My current research interests include biogenic amine control of fighting, drug-sensitive reward in invertebrates, brain evolution in fishes, and quantitative behavioral data analysis -
I develop freeware software for the analysis of behavioral data using Java applets and applications. I maintain a website for the use of the JavaGrinders library. -
I am subjected to abuse from a lab of rowdy, disrespectful and "too damn' smart" people -
I enjoy teaching Animal Behavior, and Advanced Statistics.
